Seen In The Passing!

Despite coal trains having run over the SAK for many months now, one thing I hadn't actually seen in daylight was two trains passing at one of the loops on the SAK. (I have seen it in total darkness, but unsurprisingly didn't get my camcorder out!)

However while driving in Alloa on the evening of 4th August 2009 I discovered a loaded eastbound coal train stopped in the 'Alloa Loop' and obviously waiting for an empty westbound coal train to pass, so I stopped and this time did get my camcorder out! And here are the results...
