Return Of The Prodigal! - 26038 All Evening!

Diesel events at the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway frequently have visiting locomotives, and they vary from very interesting down to (in my opinion anyway) the fairly mundane. And since I generally know what locos will be there in advance, I don't show up every time. But for the July event in 2012, I had the dates memorised well in advance since of the four visiting locomotives, two were former Scottish-based diesels. Alas it worked out that weekend that I could only travel behind one of these, so the title above refers to 26038, making it's Scottish preservation debut.

This page covers pictures from the evening of Friday 27/7/12, when 26038 ran T'n'T with 26024 hourly on a rake of 5 coaches, with 66850 tacking onto the front of the last run back to Bo'ness having just arrived at Manuel from Stirling. I missed the first run at 17:00 since I finished work at that time, but here is selction of pictures from the rest of the evening.
