Face-Painting!

Having primered the front panel of FRF63 the day before, it was time to undercoat it and then gloss it. However the weather forecast wasn't too good so we lifted the panel into Alistair's van, where it could be painted under cover.

Another job that got tackled on 5th September 2009 was the repairs needed to allow the last remaining side panel to be re-attached under the back emergency door, allowing us to do just that, complete with trim strip on each side. And as if that wasn't enough, Roy started work on the back radiator grille, which had bad rust damage, by removing it (using an angle grinder to cut of the seriously rusted bolt heads!) from the back bodywork. A busy day!
