Ghost Train!
By the second half of May 2003, the full re-paint of 26040s upper bodywork was definitely underway. Naturally we started with a complete coat of primer, since we had encountered rust patches to a greater or lesser degree all over the bodywork. So we were effectively repainting 26040 from 'Dutch' (yellow & grey) into... ummm, ...gray!
These pictures are captured from camcorder footage taken in May 2003, and show my friend and co-owner Alistair completing the job of un-'Dutch'ing 26040!
