Jeffray Wotherspoon

I am a Networking Technician at the University Of Stirling , and thus spent my working days supporting the university network.

I have been with the university since 1989, working originally with microprocessor systems and doing programming work for projects inside and outside the university, but added some networking work in 1992 and moved to what is now called Systems And Network Services full-time in 1995.

Out of hours, I am an (almost) fanatical transport enthusiast and preservationist. Along with friends, I have preserved trains, cranes buses and industrial plant, and spend most of my weekends and holidays working on these preserved items in Fife. I haven't neglected the 'real' railway either as I have spent a lot of time over the years photographing and filming the ever-changing freight and passenger scene in Scotland.
