Hosts All.
Location Primarily proximal tubules, but other components may also be affected.
Type of lesion Vacuolation and degeneration of tubular epithelial cells. Interstilial haemorrhage.
Special features Granulomas with casous centres may also be seen in gastric mueosa and gut wall. Similar lesions are seen in the condition ealled visceral granuloma in several species.
Diagnosis History, characteristic hislopathological lesion. Absence of infectious agents.
