Chronic, granulomatous or pyogranulomatous,
sometimes with caseation and cultivation. Macrophages
and neutrophils dominate the inflammatory process
and are often full of the causative bacterium.

| Diagnosis |
Gram staining (+), PAS, Immunohistochemistry.
Differential diagnosis include mycobacterial
infections and fungal nephritis. |
