Chas is a Ph.D. student at Stirling University, studying Celtic languages and the Celtic media. He also tutors at day and evening classes for Stirling Council. He has recently taken up singing and the whistle. Chas is a board member of Clě, the national organisation for learners of Gŕidhlig. |

Biography |
Angus is a radiographer and works for a company which builds and installs radiographic equipment. He is also planning a PhD in radiography in Newcastle. He was a founding member of the band Deaf Shepherd, one of the foremost traditional bands of the ‘90s in Scotland. Angus plays flute, whistle, bodhran and hand percussion. |

Biography |
Fiona is Convenor of Fčis Obair Dheathain (Fčis Aberdeen) and has played the button box since early childhood. She is also a member of the Fčisean nan Gaidheal board. She splits her time between Aberdeen and Arnprior, and, although retired, takes social work on an as-needs basis for Aberdeen City Council. |

Helen plays the concertina and Scottish small pipes with local band The Shiftin Bobbins. She has retired from a psychology readership at Stirling University, but maintains her interests as an Honorary Reader and travels the world to pursue this. |

Fiona is Convener of Croileagan Clach Mhanainn and one of the primary movers in the organisation. She lives in Thornhill. As a Gŕidhlig learner for a long time, she struggles like the rest of us to find the time and the right level to use her language at. Fiona trained as a chemist, and hails from Fife originally although she spent a lot of time in Acharacle. |
